Welcome and Hello

Hi there.

We are the Pedde Family.

 My wife's name is Grace, I have a four year old boy and a three year old girl. My name is Nathan.

We currently live in Prince George BC.

This is the story of out journey from the 'big' city and to a simpler life out in the sticks. We currently live on and own a 1900 sq ft house on a tiny 1/8 acres lot. It is funny as when we were buying the house 3 years ago, we thought that this house would be fine for us. We thought that the space was going to be large enough to meet our needs. Then my wife fell in love with Gardening. Then the what if questions started. And the Pinterest board. Filled with wonderful projects that we would never have the space to do on our tiny plot of land.

 Over the course of the last 6 months we have been doing aggressive research on anything homesteading, animal raising, and everything in between. At this point most of it is dreaming and planning. Making a list and checking stuff off of it as we can go. Like finishing the reno's to the current spread so that we can afford to buy the next one. Like making complete use of our garden space so that we can get the most out of our current house. Like buying a piece of land with enough space to do those Pinterest projects.

In this blog, we will talk about our ideas and thoughts about what we want to do in our journey. Once we get our selves to a spot that we can start getting the ball rolling, we will share it all here.
